During the 1990's most entrees were $4-7, soup was $1, appetizers were $1-$2. The restaurant opened in 1982 and closed in 2020 during the pandemic.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMilon was one of the most popular and longest lasting Indian restaurants in the E 6th St -1st Ave to 2nd Ave - block that  was once known as Little India (or Curry Row) because the entire block was filled with Indian restaurants (and groceries) serving very low priced Indian food (entrees for $4-$7).  At one time there were 27 Indian restaurants on the block, most of which specialized in Northern Indian Punjabi ,Munghal, and Bangladeshi food.  Gentrification and changing food tastes resulted in most of the restaurants closing during the 2000's and 2010's and today there is only one remaining Indian restaurant on the block.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe menu is in very good condition.
