{"product_id":"railway-express-agency-uniform-express-receipt-book-rea-1950s","title":"Railway Express Agency Uniform Express Receipt Book REA 1950's","description":"\u003cp\u003eVintage early 1950's Railway Express Agency (REA) Uniform Express Recipt Book with their (753-M) Gilbertville Massachusetts office stamped in the name of the forwarding office.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe receipt book appears to be almost unused (one receipt was used from the book), and measures 9\" x 6\" x 1\/2\" (229mm x 152mm x 13mm).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe receipt book consists of a bound (by staples) book full of REA's standard 3-page receipts that were used for shipping packages via rail.  The first page of each receipt has the terms and conditions, spaces for the customer info, and a carbon paper backing for copying the info onto the other sheets. The second page of the receipts says \"Prepaid by Shipper\" and has spaces to list the contents of the shipment, and the back side has lines for route stamps (with the first line prefilled with N.Y.C.).
