Product Description

Small 4 page brochure advertising the 1979 3/4/6 day Adriatic Sea cruises from Dubrovnik Yugoslavia (now Croatia) to Venice Italy cruises aboard the small 2,329 ton M/S Ambasador which was operated by Atlas Jugoslavenska Putnica Agencija (Atlas Yugoslavian state owned travel agency).

The Brochure has sailing schedules and itineraries/ports of call,  room rates, very basic deck plans, general information, and a photo of the ship on the covers.

The Ambasador was built in 1958 as the MS Jedinstvo for the Yugoslavian shipping line Jadrolinija Line.  In 1978 the ship was sold to the state owned travel agency, refitted, and renamed the Ambasador (spelled with one "s").  Atlas sold the ship in 1988 and after another refit in 1993 it closed out its days sailing to the Galapagos Islands until 2004 when it was scrapped.

The brochure is in excellent condition with a travel agent's stamp on the front (see photos).
