Product Description
Late 1950's chrome postcard showing the pool area of the Banner Resort in the village of Moodus (located in East Haddam), Connecticut.
The resort was set up in the 1920's by Samuel Banner to cater to a mostly Jewish clientele because many resorts at the time didn't allow Jewish guests. The resort was popular from the 1930's to 1970's. The Olympic sized pool in the photo was added in 1954.
The postcard was made by Clifford Scofield Color Productions, Cheshire, Connecticut.
The card is unused. The card has a noticeable light vertical crease running up the right side (see photos).
