The brochure includes photos and descriptions of the hotel's amenities and local attractions (UN, Rockefeller Center, Rockettes and Radio City, Greenwich Village artist, Statue of Liberty). Photos of the lobby Tap Room, Taft Grill, Village Room, Taft Room, Colonnades, hotel rooms, and "Miss Allen" (the hotel's director of personal service).
The brochure is in very good condition.
The 22 story 2,250 room Spanish Renaissance style hotel was built in 1926 as the Hotel Manger and changed its name to Hotel Taft (after President Taft) in 1931 when it was sold. The building is now a mixed use condominium (Executive Plaza) and hotel (Starhotels The Michelangelo).
