Two sided 1967 room rate register brochure for the "new" Hotel Taft in Times Square on 7th Avenue at 50th St.
The brochure gives basic info on the hotel's features and lists room rates, group rates, and group meal rates. Economy room rates for a single person started from $9.50 per night. Group meal rates (including tip and NY sales tax) started from $1.70 per person for breakfast, $3.65 for lunch, and $4.75 for dinner.
The brochure is in very good condition.
The 22 story 2,250 room Spanish Renaissance style hotel was built in 1926 as the Hotel Manger and changed its name to Hotel Taft (after President Taft) in 1931 when it was sold. The building is now a mixed use condominium (Executive Plaza) and hotel (Starhotels The Michelangelo).
