Product Description
Vintage OP2 stack the discs sculptural puzzle game made by Mag-Nif Inc. of Mentor, Ohio, and printed in the USA in 1974.
The game is made of clear hard acrylic plastic. It is rectangular and measures 8" x 1 3/4" x1" (203mm x 45mm x 45mm). The bottom half has 5 colored discs that are different sizes and colors. The top half has a black design.
The object of the puzzle game is to stack the discs in order from largest to smallest as fast as possible. The box lists on "I.Q. Rating" based on how long it takes to finish: "2 minutes: Tricky, 5 minutes: Smooth, 10 minutes: Deft, 30 minutes: Definitely Not Deft, 1 Hour: Daft"
From the box: "Ops are as much fun to look at as they are to solve. These elegant sculptural puzzles make smart decor as well as intriguing conversation pieces."
The game is still in its original box with shrinkwrap and original price tag (from the long defunct Crowley's store in downtown Detroit). The acrylic plastic game is in new condition. The cardboard box has some shelf wear and the shrinkwrap is partially torn on one side (see photos).
