Product Description

Small 3-fold brochure for the 1974 Around the World Cruises on the Orient Overseas Line passenger cargo liners ss Oriental Carnaval and ss Oriental Esmeralda.

The brochure includes room rates for each ship, general information, and a description of "life aboard ship" which includes descriptions of the ships and a listing of the ports of call. No photos, no deck plans.

The brochure is in excellent condition.

The 21,800 ton sister ships Oriental Carnaval and Oriental Esmeralda were built in 1949 for the New Zealand Shipping Co as the RMS Rangitoto (Carnaval) and RMS Rangitane (Esmeralda) and sailed with them until 1969 when Orient Overseas acquired the ships and renamed them.  Both ships were scrapped in 1976.
