Vintage promotional matchbox from the early 1980's advertising the 22-story Penn Center Inn at 20th and Market Streets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The hotel was built in 1958 and demolished in 1990.
The matchbook has a drawing of the hotel on the strike side of the cover, and the hotel name and location on the front cover. The inside of the matchbook lists the hotel's amenities which included color TV and radio, direct dial phones, swimming pool, coffee shop, and more. The matches have white tips.
The matchbook is in very good condition. It has a small smudge/spot on the left side of the strike side. All matches are intact and the "strike pad" is unstruck (see photos).
