5-page, 8"x11", brochure for the 30-day Spring 1977 Trans-Panama adventure cruise aboard the Strand Cruises ship ss Veracruz. The cruise started in Montego Bay Jamaica and ended in Vancouver British Columbia 30-days later. Brochure includes photos and descriptions of the ship and cruise destinations, itinerary, room rates, and general information (no deck plans).
Brochure is in excellent condition.
The Veracruz was originally built as the Theodor Herzl for Israel's Zim Lines in 1957. Eastern Steamship bought the ship in 1971 and renamed it the Freeport I. In 1975 the ship was rebuilt and renamed the Veracruz. The ship was sold in the mid 1980's to Bahama Cruise Line and then Bermuda Star Line Cruises. The ship burned and sank in 1991.
