The Stella Solaris was built in 1953 as the Cambodge for the French Messageries Maritimes.  The ship was sold to Sun Line in 1970, rebuilt and renamed Stella Solaris, and sailed with them from 1973-2003 when it was scrapped (Sun Line and Epirotiki merged in 1995 to form Royal Olympic).

The Stella Maris was built in 1960 as the German car ferry Bremerhaven for Argo Reedereis.  Sun Line bought the ship in 1965, renamed and rebuilt it for service as a cruise ship and it sailed with them until 1998 when it was sold.  The ship spent its last years sailing as the Viking Bordeaux (Viking Cruises 1998-2004), and Madagascar (Indian Ocean Cruises 2005-2006).

The Stella Oceanis was built as the cruise ship / car ferry Aphrodite for K Lines in 1965 and sold in 1966 to Sun Lines who renamed her the Stella Oceanis and rebuilt the ship as strictly cruise ship.  The ship was laid up in 2000 and scrapped in 2003.
