Vintage promotional matchbox from the 1980's advertising the now closed The Magic Pan Creperie full service restaurant chain.
Magic Pan opened its first restaurant on Fillmore Street in San Francisco in 196. The chain was acquired by Quaker Oats in 1970. Quaker sold the chain in 1982. The chain's 100+ restaurants closed abruptly in the early 1990's after the company went bankrupt.
The matchbook has the Magic Pan logo and name on the front cover and a stripe design on the back cover.
The matchbook is in excellent condition and all of the matches are intact and the "strike pad" is unstruck (see photos).
