The 20,000 ton ss Azure Seas entered service in 1955 as the Southern Cross for Shaw Savill . The ship was sold to Ulysses line in 1973 and renamed Calypso. In 1980 the ship was sold to Western Cruise Lines (owned by Eastern Cruise Lines which later became Admiral Cruises after a merger) and renamed the Azure Seas. In 1991 it was sold again to Dolphin Cruise Line (which later became Premier Cruise Line after a merger) and renamed the OceanBreeze. The ship sailed until 2003 when it was scrapped.
