1976 Democratic National Convention Press Pass Madison Sq Garden NYC

Vintage press pass for the 1976 Democratic National Convention which was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City from August 12-15 1976.
The front of the pass says "News - Perimeter" and it is stamped #16065 and it says "this credential will permit access to restricted areas of Madison Square Garden".
The reporter wrote their TV station call letters "WHYN-TV" (which was an ABC affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts) on the back. The back also has a schedule the reporter jotted down with numbers and times.
The 1976 DNC nominated President Jimmy Carter and Vice President Walter Mondale. Carter received 74% of the ballots, Congressman Mo Udall received nearly 11%, and California Governor Jerry Brown received nearly 10%.
Condition: The press pass is in very good condition. It measures 7" x 3 1/2" (178mm x 89mm).
