1950's linen postcard showing Abraham Lincoln and the Abraham Lincoln House at the northeast corner of Eighth and Johnson Streets in Springfield Illinois.
Lincoln bought the house in the spring of 1844 and lived in it until he became President in 1861. The house was built in 1839 and Lincoln added the full second story in 1856.

The postcard is used and stamped with a 2 cent U.S. stamp, postmarked 1957. The card is in very good condition. (see photos).
