Product description

One sided individual and group rate room tariff information sheet from 1967 for the Albert Pick New York Belmont Plaza Hotel on Lexington Avenue at 49th Street in Midtown Manhattan near Grand Central Station. Single rooms started from $13.50 per night and 3 room suites started from $54.00 per night.

The flyer also has a brief overview of features and services, meeting banquet and convention facilities, and the Royal Scots Grill and Cocktail Lounge.

The brochure is in very good condition with a travel agent's stamp on the front.

The 800 room hotel was built in 1928 as the Hotel Montclair and changed its name to the Belmont in the 1930's.  Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin got their showbiz start performing in the hotel's Glass Hat Club, and several NFL drafts were held at the hotel in the late 1960's/early 1970's.
