Synopsis: The young detectives are hired by a nervous and eccentric antiques dealer named Mr. Claudius who possesses a valuable and mysterious African witch doctor's skull that is rumored to talk. Mr. Claudius believes someone is trying to steal it, as strange occurrences and unsettling messages have been plaguing him. The Three Investigators take on the case, determined to uncover the truth behind the talking skull and the threats against Mr. Claudius. Their investigation leads them through the dusty world of antique collecting, into the realm of superstition and folklore surrounding the skull, and introduces them to a cast of suspicious characters, including a rival collector and individuals with a keen interest in the artifact's supposed powers. As they delve deeper, the boys uncover a complex web of secrets, hidden motives, and clever disguises. They must use their sharp intellect, resourcefulness, and courage to decipher the mystery of the talking skull, figure out who is behind the attempts to steal it, and ultimately protect Mr. Claudius and his valuable possession.

The book is in very good condition.  The cover's corner tips have some very light wear on the edges (see photos). The interior pages are in excellent condition.
