Two small American President Lines schedules and fares brochures for passenger cargo liner voyages during 1963-1965 aboard the lines American registered ships.

The first schedule is a one panel two sided brochure for Port Everglades to the Orient and Around the World sailings from April 6, 1963 to March 22, 1965 aboard the President Polk and President Monroe. The front lists the sailing schedule and fares.  The back side has a sample itinerary for the 100 day world cruise.  The brochure was printed in New York in February 1963.

The second schedule is a two panel two sided brochure listing 1963-64 sailings and fares and itineraries for the following routes:

• Round the World and Intercoastal - Atlantic Straits 1963-64
• California to New York via Panama 1963
• Transpacific - California to Orient 1963
• Atlantic Straits aboard "C Class" vessels.

Sailings were aboard the following ships:

• A Class: President Adams, President Hayes, President Coolidge, President Jackson
• B Class: President Garfield, President Arthur, President Taylor, President Buchanon, President Tyler, President Lincoln
• C Class: President Pierce, President Madison, President Grant, President Taft, President McKinley, President Harrison, President Van Buren, President Johnson, President Jefferson

American President Lines was originally formed in 1848 as Pacific Mail Steamship Company.  The company's fleet was bought by Dollar Shipping Company (which was formed in 1844) in 1925. In 1938 the US Maritime Commission deemed Dollar financially unsound and took over the line, and renamed it American President Lines. The cargoliner service ended in 1973. The company was sold to Neptune Orient Lines in 1998.

The two brochures are in very good condition with very slight wear on the corner tips.  See photos.
