Mid 1960's full color 3-panel 2-sided brochure for The Americana of New York Hotel (owned and operated by Loews and built by the Tish brothers) at 811 7th Ave between 52nd and 53nd St in Manhattan.
The brochure includes photos and descriptions of the hotel and its public amenities and hotel rooms including The Royal Box supper club, The Golden Spur and La Ronde restaurants, the "men's only" luncheons in the Wooden Indian, and the Imperial Ballroom.
The brochure is in very good condition. It has a travel agent stamp on the front.
The 51 story 501 ft tall hotel opened in 1962 and is one of the 100 tallest hotels in the world. It has changed hands a few times over the years and is now known as the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel.
