Amtrak Express was a bi-monthly magazine published during the 1980's and distributed onboard Amtrak trains.

Feature articles in this issue include "The Christmas Local" (Christmas train related story), Skiing in the eastern US,  Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture, John Updike visits his childhood farm , Pasadena California, Personal style consultants, Precisionist light and shadow artist Charles Sheeler, buying and selling at auctions,  and Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol brought to life .

Railroad related articles and features include an Amtrak system route map, All Aboard (Train of the Year: The Sunset Limited), Amtrak branded Gifts and Travel Accessories, Inside Track ("highlights, events, and interesting items from all around Amtrak country"), and "Things you should know about riding Amtrak"

Condition: The magazine is in very good condition.  There is a 1/4" split on the covers at the top left on the spine.  The inside pages are in excellent condition with no creases or writing (see photos).
