The wrapper is in excellent condition. The gum inside the wrapper is approaching 50 years old so we wouldn't suggest eating the gum :) See photos.
Beech-Nut owned the Carefree brand from 1969 until 1979 when it sold the sticky gum brand to Nabisco. During the 1970's Carefree was sweetened with Sorbitol and available in four flavors: Fruit, Peppermint, Spearmint, and Cinnamon.
