Product Description
Vintage 3-panel 2-sided paper takeout menu from 1999 for the now closed Benny's Burritos Mexican restaurant which was located at 93 Avenue A and the corner of E 6th St in the Alphabet City / East Village neighborhood in Manhattan.
The restaurant opened in 1988 in the then ungentrified East Village, and closed in 2014 due to rising rents and costs caused by hyper gentrification. The popular restaurant specialized in affordable "San Francisco style" Cal Mex Burritos (which were huge) and also served Enchiladas, Quesadillas, Tacos, Chile, and Nachos.
Condition: The menu is in excellent condition (see photos). The menu is 8.5" x 4.75" folded (and approximately 8.5" x 14" when opened).
