Late 1930's white border postcard showing a car crossing the Blue Water International Bridge over the St. Clair River at Point Edward near Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.
The 6,178 ft. long cantilever truss bridge opened in October 1938. In 1997 a companion 6,109 continuous tied arch bridge was built next to it to handle eastbound traffic and the original bridge was designated for westbound traffic.
The postcard was printed in Canada by the Photogelatine Engraving Co. Ltd, Ottawa.
The postcard is unused and it is in very good condition. (see photos).
