Vintage 30-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the 1980's advertising the San Francisco branch of the now defunct Bobby Rubino's Place for Ribs restaurant chain which started in South Florida in the 1970's and at its peak had 25 restaurants across the US.
The San Francisco restaurant was located at 245 Jefferson St on Fisherman's Wharf.
The front cover of the matchbook has the Bobby Rubino's name and logo, and phone number for the San Francisco branch. The strike side of the matchbook has the address and says "Featuring our Famous Barbecued Ribs & Chicken - Delicious Steaks, Seafood, and other specialties. The inside of the matchbook is blank.
The matchbook cover is in very good condition . It is empty and there are no matches, and the strike pad appears to be unused (see photos).
