1910's postcard showing a scene in the Public Garden in Boston Massachusetts with the equestrian statue of President George Washington sitting on a horse in the background.
The public garden, built on landfill on former mud flats in the Back Bay neighborhood, was established in 1837, and the Washington Statue was dedicated in 1869.
The card was published by Mason and Brothers Co., Boston, Mass.
The postcard is in very good condition. It is used but unstamped.
