Vintage boxed molded plastic Buddy L Rescue Force Fire Chief Emergency Rescue Car with "Realistic Voices and Sounds! Flashing Lights" (2 AA batteries required for sounds and lights). The sounds and lights are operated by pressing the two buttons on the side near the back.

note: the 33+ year old AA batteries in the car are no longer working and will need to be replaced. The car takes common 2 x AA batteries which can be easily replaced by opening the battery compartment on the bottom of the car (there is a diagram showing battery replacement on the box).

The roof has red siren lights and "22". The car has "Fire Rescue Emergency" and "Buddy L " labels on the sides. The hood has a "Fire chief - Buddy L - 22" fire badge and "Emergency" labels.  The trunk has "Dial 9-1-1" labels.

The car is 5 1/4 inches (133mm) long x 2 1/2 inches (64mm) wide and is made of molded plastic.  It was made in China in 1993.

Condition:  the car is in very near mint to mint condition with no noticeable physical flaws.  The two 33+ year old AA batteries will need to be replaced. The box is in very good condition but has the original price tags on the top (see photos).
