Vintage promotional cardboard matchbox with red tipped wooden matches from the 1980's for the Cafe On The Terrace restaurant in The Biltmore Plaza Hotel in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. The art deco style luxury hotel was built in 1922 (and it is now known as the Graduate Providence hotel).
The matchbox has the Cafe On The Terrace name/logo on the front and the Biltmore Plaza name/logo on the back. The telephone number and 'Operated by Hotels of Distinction' is on the side panel.
The matchbox is in very good condition but the strikepad has been struck and there are only 13 matches remaining. See photos.
