Synopsis: In the main story, “Money Is Everything,” the Colonel becomes involved in another scheme that he hopes will bring him quick financial success, with his good-natured but gullible friend Calvin along to help. As usual, the Colonel's plans quickly become complicated, leading the pair into a series of comic misunderstandings and mishaps as they pursue their latest opportunity. Calvin's innocence and the Colonel's tendency to cut corners provide plenty of trouble before their scheme finally runs its course.
The issue also includes several short comic gags featuring the two friends, including “Going Down,” “The Expert,” and “The Handyman.” Based on the 1961 animated television series, the comic continues the adventures of the scheming fox Colonel Montgomery J. Klaxon and the easily influenced bear Calvin T. Burnside. The 36-page issue was published by Dell Comics and is the second and final issue of the Calvin and the Colonel comic series.
