Vintage fold-out very detailed cruise deck plan brochure from the 1960's for the Canadian Pacific ships RMS Empress of Canada and RMS Empress of England. The deck plan folds out to a size of approximately 24" x 21" (610mm x 533mm)
Side 1 has the deck plans for the Empress of Canada: Promenade Deck, Empress Deck, Upper Deck, Main Deck, Restaurant Deck, Lower Deck.
Side 2 has the deck plans for the Empress of England: Boat Deck, Promenade Deck, Deck A, Deck B, Deck C, and Deck D.
The brochure is in excellent condition (see photos).
The 650 ft long 27,300 ton Empress of Canada was built in 1960. Canadian Pacific sold it to Carnival in 1972 and it became Carnival's first ship the tss Mardi Gras and it sailed with them until 1993 when it was sold to Epirotiki (later Royal Olympic) and it sailed as the Olympic and Apollon until 2003 when it was scrapped.
The 640 ft long 25,500 ton Empress of England entered service in 1957. Canadian Pacific sold it to Shaw Savill in 1970 and it sailed with them as the Ocean Monarch until 1975 when it was laid up and scrapped.
