The brochure includes photos and descriptions of the ship and the cruise and ports of call, a day by day Alaska cruise "diary", itineraries and sailing dates, room rates and photos of the staterooms, deck plans, and "helpful hints" general information.
The brochure is in very good condition with some minor yellowing around the edges due to age (see photos).
The 6,062 ton 356-ft Princess Patricia II (and its sister ship the T.E.V Marguerite II) was built in 1949 as a passenger car ferry (up to 2000 passengers, 60 cars). In 1963 it was refitted as strictly a cruise ship and additional cabins were added (the ship's new capacity was 347 passengers). During the winters of 1965-67 the ship was chartered to the then new Princess Cruises and became their first ship. The ship ended its service with CP in 1981 and was laid up and eventually scrapped in the early 1990's.
