6-panel 2-sided full color brochure from 1982 for the 7-Day cruises to Mexico from Los Angeles during the inaugural season of the Carnival Cruise Lines 36,674 ton "Fun Ship" TSS Tropicale which entered service in 1982.
The brochure descriptions of the ship and photos of its exterior, Palm Restaurant, Tropicana Lounge, Islands In The Sun Lounge, Exta-Z Discotheque, Boiler Room Bar And Grill, Categories 3,6, and 9 Cabins.
The brochure also has descriptions of ports of call , cruise itinerary, deck plans, a side view showing the location of major public rooms, and a list of inclusives.
Condition: The brochure is in excellent condition (see photos).
Ship History: The Tropicale was built by Carnival in 1981 and sailed with them until 2000 when it was sold to Costa and renamed Costa Tropicale. P&O Australia bought the ship in 2005 and renamed it Pacific Star. From 2008-2020 it sailed as the Ocean Dream for Pullmantur Cruises (2008-2012) and Peace Boat (2012-2020). It was scrapped in 2021.
