4 page brochure for the June 14 -October 18 1977 15 day air/sea/hotel "Mediterranean Air/ Sea/Hotel" tour packages aboard the Chandris cruise ship ss Amerikanis.

The tour package included a 7 day cruise on the Amerikanis departing from and returning to Palma de Majorca, plus 7 days at a hotel in Palma.  Ports of call on the cruise were Tunis, Malta, Messina (Sicily), Naples, Genoa, and Cannes. Air travel was via a Spantax Airlines charter jet.

The brochure includes photos of the ship's exterior and interior on the covers, tour itineraries, room rates, descriptions of ports of call, basic deck plans showing location of cabins only, and general information.

Condition: The brochure is in excellent condition (see photos).

Ship History: The 19,904 ton Amerikanis sailed as the Kenya Castle for Union Castle Line from 1952-67 when it was purchased by Chandris and renamed Amerikanis. It sailed with Chandris until 1996 when it was laid up (including a 4-year stint from 1980-84 when it was chartered to Costa).  The ship was sold for scrap in 2001.
