Costa charted the ship from 1978-1981 and renamed it World Renaissance. Epirotiki then operated the ship until 1995 when it was sold. It then sailed with Awani Cruises from 1995-1998 (as the Awani Dream), Royal Olympic 1998-2004 (as the World Renaissance). The ship was sold again in 2004 and went through 2 more owners before being scrapped in 2010.
The Carla C originally operated as the French Line ship Flandre from 1952-1968 when it was purchased by Costa and renamed the Carla C. Costa sold the ship to Epirotiki Line in 1992 who operated it as the Pallas Athena until 1994 when it burned.
The Angelina originally sailed as the Oranje for the Nederland Line from 1938-1964 when it was sold to Laura Lines and rebuilt and renamed the Angelina Lauro. In 1977 the ship was chartered to Costa Line's for 3 years and renamed the Angelina. The ship caught fire in 1979 while on a cruise and was a total loss.
