Small 3-panel 2-sided brochure advertising savings of 10% and 25% on Cunard Line fall/winter 1961/1962 sailings to Europe. The brochure was printed in the U.S. August 1961 and measures 6 1/4" x 3 1/2 folded (159mm x 89mm).
The brochure has photos of the RMS Queen Elizabeth and RMS Queen Mary on the front cover. The inside has info on savings of 10% during the thrift season (August 23, 1961 to 1962 Eastbound and November 1, 1961 to June 28, 1962 westbound) and 25% during the excursion season (from New York or Canada November 1, 1961 to February 28, 1962).
The brochure also has a detailed description listing all the benefits of sailing to Europe on a Cunard ship.
Cunard's fleet at this time included the Queen Elizabeth (later renamed the Seawise University), Queen Mary, Mauretania, Caronia (later renamed the Caribia), Sylvania (later renamed the Fairwind, Dawn Princess, Albatros), Carinthia (later renamed Fairland, Fairsea, Fair Princess, China Sea Discovery), Ivernia (later renamed the Franconia, Fedor Shalyapin), and Saxonia (later renamed the Carmania, Leonid Sobinov).
