10-page full color brochure for the Summer-Fall 1974 (May 4th to December 14th) Caribbean Fly/Cruises aboard the Cunard Line 14,000 ton sister ships MV Cunard Ambassador and MV Cunard Adventurer.

FYI: several of the Cunard Ambassador's cruises listed in this brochure had to be cancelled after the ship caught fire on September 12, 1974 and was declared a total loss.

The brochure includes a photo of the ship on the cover, descriptions of ports of call, a list of special tips for your Cunard cruise, room rates and photos of the different type of staterooms, deck plans, sailing schedules and itineraries, a short list of technical facts about the ships (gross tons, length, width, number of passengers, when built, and a few more), a description of Cunard resorts in St. Lucia and Barbados, and general passenger information.

Condition: The brochure is in excellent condition (see photos).

Ship History: The Cunard Adventurer sailed with Cunard from 1971-77 when it was sold to Norwegian Cruise Line and renamed the Sunward II. The ship was sold to Epirotiki line in 1991 and renamed the Triton. It was sold to Royal Olympic Cruises in 1995 who operated the ship until 2004 when it was sold to Louis Cruises and renamed the Coral and sailed until 2014.

The MV Cunard Ambassador (sister ship of the Cunard Adventurer) was built in 1972.  In 1974 the ship caught fire and was declared a total loss.  The hull of the ship was sold to a Danish company who converted the ship into a sheep/livestock carrier and renamed it 'Linda Clausen'.  The ship caught fire a second time in 1981, and a third time in 1983, and after the 3rd fire it was sold to ship breakers.
