Dinky Toys, no. 30w, Hindle Smart Helecs Electric Articulated Lorry with detachable trailer,  yellow and red 'British Railways" decal on front, diecast metal maroon colored body, painted black cab roof, black trailer hitches, silver headlight, black hard rubber wheels with red wheel hubs. 

note: the roof on the truck cab was repainted black.

The sheet metal baseplate of the cap says "Dinky Toys". The underside of the trailer says "Dinky Toys, Made In England, Meccano Ltd, 30W, Hindle Smart Helecs".

The truck is 135mm / 5.3" inches long and it was made in England by Dinky / Meccano Ltd in 1953. 

Condition: The truck is in very good condition.  It has a few spots of paint wear on the cab bed by the trailer hitch, and a few small pinpoint paint chips on the top edge of the trailer.  The decal on the front has two small areas of wear. (see photos).
