Doctor Who Magazine, issue #127 August 1987, published in 1987 by Marvel Comics Ltd and printed in the United Kingdom. 40 pages. Editor Chris Keller, art director Maiko Lin

Synopsis: Doctor Who Magazine #127, released in August 1987 by Marvel UK, is a 40-page magazine that includes production features, interviews, reference content, and the ongoing Doctor Who comic strip. A major feature is an interview with director Paddy Russell, along with a “Season Three Flashback” looking back at the early years of the television series through interviews with producer John Wiles and writer Dennis Spooner. The issue also visits the newly relaunched Longleat Doctor Who Exhibition, with model maker Stuart Evans discussing the creation and display of Doctor Who props and models. Other features include a fact file and synopsis for Snakedance, a profile of companion Liz Shaw, and an examination of scientific errors in the television series.

The issue also begins “The World Shapers,” an eight-page comic-strip adventure written by Grant Morrison, with art by John Ridgway, Tim Perkins and Richard Starkings. It features the Sixth Doctor, Peri Brown and Frobisher and begins a three-part story that ran through issues #127–129. The adventure ultimately becomes notable as the final regular Doctor Who Magazine comic strip featuring Colin Baker's Sixth Doctor

Condition: The magazine is in excellent condition (see photos).
