Rare 1950's children's book.  Dr. Goat, written by Georgiana, illustrated by Charles Clement.  A "Top Top Tales" book published by Whitman Publishing Co. of Racine Wisconsin and printed in the USA in 1950.

condition:

• The book's cover has separated from the pages. The staples and pages are intact but the pages have separated from the spine of the cardboard hardcover. (see photos).
• The cover shows some wear on the corners on the outside, and on the inside of the cover there are marks from where the pages were taped to the spine. (see photos)
  
• The illustrated pages themselves are in very good condition with no creases but there is a name written in pencil on the page opposite the cover page (see photos).

The book tells the story of a veterinarian, Dr. Goat, who takes care of other animals but then gets sick himself.
