Green Eggs And Ham, by Dr. Seuss. Copyright 1960 by Beginner Books, a division of Random House, New York. Published and printed in the U.S.A. Hardcover book, Book Club Edition, 62 printed pages.
Synopsis: "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss is a humorous and rhythmic children's book that tells the story of Sam-I-Am, a persistent character who tries to convince his grumpy friend to try a strange dish: green eggs and ham. The friend repeatedly refuses, insisting he does not like them, no matter how or where they are served—on a boat, with a goat, in a house, with a mouse, and so on.
Despite the resistance, Sam-I-Am continues offering different scenarios, until the friend finally gives in and tries the green eggs and ham. To his surprise, he discovers that he actually likes them. The story ends with the friend happily thanking Sam-I-Am for encouraging him to try something new. The book playfully promotes open-mindedness and trying new things.
Condition: The book is in very good plus condition. The cover has some signs of light wear on the cover's spine edges and the right corner tips of the two covers but is otherwise in excellent condition (see photos).
