Synopsis: The Cat in the Hat is a classic children's book by Dr. Seuss that tells the story of a brother and sister who are stuck inside on a rainy day. Bored and restless, their day takes a wild turn when a tall, mischievous cat wearing a red-and-white striped hat suddenly appears. The Cat, along with his companions Thing 1 and Thing 2, creates chaos and turns the house upside down with their antics. Despite the mess and mayhem, the Cat eventually cleans everything up just in time before the children's mother returns home. The story ends with a question to the reader: should the children tell their mother what happened? The book is known for its rhyming text, whimsical illustrations, and its message about fun, responsibility, and decision-making.

The book is in very good condition.  The covers have light wear on the corner tip edges (see photos).  The inside pages are in excellent condition.
