Vintage 10-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the early 1980's for the Dutch Inn Motor Hotel Restaurant on Harmony Rd at Exit 17 of I-295 in Gibbstown New Jersey.
The motel opened in 1974 and featured a large windmill shaped entrance. It's Dutch Inn restaurant and Flying Dutchman lounge were popular South Jersey gathering spots. The motel was sold in 1998 and is now a Red Carpet Inn. The restaurant and lounge section of the motel were demolished in 2023 after being closed for years.
The front cover has the motel logo and name, and the strike side cover has the address and says "Banquet Facilities - 24 hour Restaurant"'. The inside of the cover is blank.
The matchbook cover is empty and there are no matches, the strike pad appears to be unused. The matchbook is in very good condition (see photos).
