From the back: "Here come the elephants, Paulina, the big one, and Aneta, the smaller. Every afternoon Paulina will take you for a ride on her back."

The postcard is unused but it has writing in pencil on the front on the elephants (see photos)
Historical note: the Detroit Zoo opened to the public in 1928. The two elephants, Aneta and Pauline, were brought to the zoo in 1928 from the Hagenback Circus in Hamburg Germany. Aneta passed away in 1943, and Paulina passed away in 1950.
