Vintage made in the U.S.A. in 1992 Ertl #2090 limited edition diecast metal 1:25 scale Mickey Thompson 1938 Chevrolet Panel Truck Locking Coin Bank with Key in a special Mickey Thompson Performance Pioneers box.

This scale model is number 5 in the Eastwood Company's Performance Pioneer Series which featured the companies and men that created the American hi-performance automotive industry. This truck is #3512 of the limited edition and 3512 is stamped on the bottom of the truck and on the box.

The coin bank can be unlocked by turning the key (which is included) in the base of the truck.

The truck has a  light powder blue metal body, navy blue fenders and running boards, black base, chrome grille bumpers and headlights, clear windshield, black seat dashboard and steering wheel, removable key in the base (to unlock the coin bank), real rubber tires with chrome wheel hubs.

The truck has the "Mickey Thompson Equipped" logo and "The World's Fastest Speed Equipment on the sides, "Performance Pioneers #5 Mickey Thompson" on the back, and "Mickey Thompson Enterprises Long Beach California" on the front doors.

The Chevy truck is 1:25 scale, 7 1/4" inches long x 3" high x 2" wide (184mm x 76mm x 51mm) . Made in the U.S.A. in 1992.

Condition: The truck is new and in mint condition in a very good condition box (see photos).

trivia: Mickey Thompson was racing car driver who drove dragsters, funny cars, and Indy cars.  He was also an inventor and manufacturer of high performance engine components.
