Esso New York City Long Island Map And Visitor Guide World's Fair 1964

New York City and Long Island Map and Visitor's Guide, issued January 1964 by the "Esso" brand of Humble Oil & Refining Co. (a subsidiary of Standard Oil of New Jersey which rebranded as Exxon in 1973). The map folds out to a size of approximately 24" x 17".
The front cover of the map has an illustration of the New York State and New York City World's Fair buildings seen from the Grand Central Parkway . The back cover is stamped "Linden Esso Service Center".
Side 1 has a large map that shows the New York metro area including all 5 boroughs including the location of the 1964 World's Fair in Queens, western Long Island, and parts of New Jersey including Newark, Elizabeth, Jersey City, and other towns. The index at the bottom includes communities, points of interest, yacht clubs, parks, golf courses, and airports.
Side 2 of the map has a large detailed map of lower Manhattan that includes a street numbering guide, hotels, theaters, buildings, churches, clubs, parks, radio & TV studios, stores, transportation terminals, other points of interest, and a sight-seeing guide to Manhattan. It also has a large map of Long Island and insets showing state parks, automobile ferries, and a sight-seeing guide to Long Island.
The map is in excellent condition.
