Printed in the U.S.A. in 1982. 38 printed pages, printed on newsprint, 11 1/4" x  3/4" (286mm x 222mm). 

Synopsis:  Every Family Has One is a political satire comic published in 1982 during Ted Kennedy's re-election campaign. It was written and illustrated by Dick Hafer, a conservative cartoonist known for creating politically and religiously themed comic books.  It was produced for the anti-Kennedy political organization Citizens Organized to Replace Kennedy (C.O.R.K.).

The comic is an an extended political caricature of Kennedy. Hafer portrays Kennedy as the privileged "black sheep" of the Kennedy family, arguing that his wealth, family name, and political influence have allowed him to escape the consequences of reckless behavior and poor judgment. The comic revisits many of the controversies associated with Kennedy's public life—including the Chappaquiddick incident, his personal conduct, and his liberal voting record—while depicting him as hypocritical, arrogant, and out of touch with ordinary Americans. The tone is sharply partisan and humorous in a broad, exaggerated style typical of political propaganda comics of the era, with the goal of persuading Massachusetts voters to oppose Kennedy's 1982 Senate re-election campaign rather than presenting a balanced biography.

Condition: The comic is in overall very good condition. The pages have some yellowing around the edges from age,  and there is very light wear on the top right corner tips from being read (not glossy).
