Vintage 30-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the late 1980's advertising the long closed Fat 'n' Mike's Sports Connection sports lounge and restaurant which was located at 1512 Lawrence and the corner of 15th in downtown Denver Colorado.
The sports bar/restaurant was opened in the late 1980's by Denver Broncos (NFL) football player Mike Harden and Denver Broncos (NBA) basketball player Lafayette "Fat" Lever. The restaurant was closed by the mid 1990's.
The front cover and strike sides of the matchbook have the restaurant's name and logo, and the phone numbers and address are also on the covers. The inside of the matchbook is blank..
The matchbook cover is in very good condition . It is empty and there are no matches, and the strike pad appears to be unused (see photos).
