Condition: the comic book is in overall very good condition.  The front cover has a few light spots, and both covers have some light wear around the edges and yellowing from age. The interior pages have some yellowing from age, and 4 of the pages have small dogear creases. (see photos).

Synopsis:  Fightin' Army #130 (February 1978) is a Charlton Comics war anthology featuring several military stories set across different periods of warfare. The lead story takes place during the Civil War and follows Confederate soldiers who devise a daring scheme to capture a Union gold train and transport its valuable cargo back to the South. The story is based on an actual wartime incident that also provided the inspiration for Buster Keaton's classic silent film The General.

The issue also includes historical war stories involving World War II, including the use of deadly decoy ships by Nazi Germany, along with the tales "A Man of Peace," "The Raiders," and "PQ 17 to Murmansk." Written and illustrated primarily by Joe Gill and Bill Molno, the issue combines fictional combat adventures with dramatized accounts of real military events.
