Published by the renowned Adolph Selige Publishing Co. of St. Louis, the card exemplifies early 20th-century postcard artistry and rural Americana. Printed in Leipzig, Germany, it reflects the high-quality lithographic techniques of the period.

The postcard is unposted.  It has a small white damage spot near the bottom right corner on the front, and there is a note written n the front "H.L.K. Feb. 1914". (see photos).
