Fold out full color brochure for the September 1977 to May 1978 15 day air/sea Canary Islands cruises aboard the Norwegian owned 12,244 ton Fred Olsen Lines ship ms Blenheim.
The cruises departed from and returned to London with visits to Madeira, La Palma, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, and Lanzarote.
The brochure includes a photo and description of the ship, a day-by-day description of the cruise and ports of call, itineraries, room rates, air sea rates, and general information.
The brochure is in very good condition.
The Blenheim was built in 1970 as a combination roll on/roll off car ferry and passenger ship. Fred Olsen sold the ship in 1981 to Scandinavian World Cruises (managed by DFDS) and it was rebuilt and renamed Scandinavian Sea. The ship caught fire in 1984 and was a total loss and needed to be rebuilt. It was sold in 1984 to Pan Ocean and renamed Venus Venture. It was sold again in 1986 to Bajamar Shipping (later Discovery Cruise Line) and renamed Discovery 1. It caught fire again in 1996 and was scrapped shortly after in 1997.
