31 page full color brochure for the 1974 10 to 43 day air/sea cruise tour packages aboard the French Line ship ss France (Transatlantic, Europe, Britain), the Hellenic Mediterranean ship ms Aquarius (Mediterranean, Aegean/Greek Islands), and the Incres Line ship ms Victoria (Caribbean).
The brochure includes photos and descriptions of all three ships and shipboard life, details on the 14 available air/sea packages including itineraries and departure dates and room rates and package rates, and general information.
Air travel for these air/sea tour packages was provided by British Caledonian Airways.
The brochure has a small tear on page 29/30 (see photos) and a small stain on page 28 but is otherwise in very good condition.
The France was built in 1962 and sailed with French Line as the S/S France from 1962-1974. NCL bought the ship in 1979 and refurbished it and renamed it ss Norway and it sailed with them until 1999 when it was damaged by a fire in the engine room. The ship was sold for scrap in 2003.
The Victoria was originally built for Union Castle Line in 1936 as the Dunnottar Castle. The ship was sold to Incres Lines in 1958 and renamed Victoria. Chandris bought the ship in 1975 and operated it until 1993 when it was sold to Louis Cruise Lines and renamed the Princesa Victoria. The ship was scrapped in 2004.
The Aquarius had a capacity of 270 passengers and was built in 1972. The ship was sold in 1987 to Yugoslave line Jadrolinija Cruises and renamed Adriana and sailed as the Adriana with several owners until it was scrapped in 2017.
